BERMUDA FISHING TRIPS

What to expect from your Bermuda fishing trip

The beautiful Atlantic Ocean is home to many species, including grouper, rockfish, snapper, bonitos, pompanos, and much more. There’s no better way to spend the morning, afternoon, or day than fishing in the beautiful, shallow waters of Bermuda!

The preferred method for almost guaranteed success is to rent one of our 17-foot motorboats and venture out amongst the vast coral reefs surrounding Bermuda. Your rental includes a fishing rod and bait, as well as recommendations for the best spots to get a bite!

Know that fishing in Bermuda does not always require going out into the deep. There are many fishing spots that are popular with local fishermen on the docks in Mangrove Bay, Somerset Bridge, and the Royal Naval Dockyard, where it is possible to throw your line over and catch a variety of medium-size fish.

Fishing regulations

  • Lobsters may only be taken by licensed residents of Bermuda.
  • Spearguns are not allowed, only pole spears.
  • Spearfishing within one mile of the shoreline is illegal.
